Zagreb is different than I expected but granted I didn't really know what to expect. It's a large city and the capital of Croatia. Lots of people but not really a lot of tourists. Again, we have lucked out that everyone speaks fluent English. The weather hasn't been the best but oh well.
Main Square
Main Street
Funicular -- steepest and shortest in the world? Sources says several things
The view from the older upper town Door for mom
St Mark's Church -- tiles are the same as the ones in Budapest and from Hungary
Another door :-)
Government building
Lady standing gate which is now and ode to Mary
Other side of the gate
Street filled with bars and cafés -- used to be a stream that separated 2 towns
Local brew pub
Looks like an orb -- actually it's the sun and there are little planets dispersed around the city. We tried to find Mercury but I think it was too small
Church
Theater -- lots of yellow buildings
Botanical Gardens
